On the 10th May 2026, I had the pleasure of opening for Dave Rountree, Blur's drummer, at the Forum in Tunbridge Wells. Thank you to everyone who came and supported, the energy in the crowd was incredible.

My second book, The Museum of Nearly Remembered Things is launching this summer of 2026. This is the greatest collection of poetry I have written and am super excited to share it with you. With themes of distorted memory, nostalgia, and positivity, this book guides you through everyday life.

Calm After The Storm has officially sold out in paperback format, thanks to everyone who has supported the debut launch. Don't worry if you missed out, I am launching the collection on Amazon Kindle for a massive 75% off! Keep reading and keep supporting, there is much more just around the corner.
Whatever you may be going through, there is always hope, kindness, and love - sometimes it’s just about where to find it.
This book is a collection of my thoughts, feelings and experiences.
Over the past four years, since writing my first poem, I have turned what began as my only outlet for expressing my emotions, to something I believe can make an impact in this world.

"Today, I shared your poem with a group of my students. At the end, without me saying a word, they picked up their phones and reached out to their friends." - English Tutor
"Calm After The Storm is more than just a collection of his thoughts, feelings, and experiences - it's a movement - a powerful reflection of the impact of words, vulnerability, and hope." - Wellbeing Magazine
"It would make a brilliant gift for a young person" - Davina McCall & Michael Douglas
The Calm After The Storm has sold across the UK, Europe, and even in the USA and Africa. It's more than a book, it's a collection of poetry to save lives.
'Don't Die Today; Die Tomorrow' depicts typical conversations between two mates, whilst showing how to potentially save someone's life.
Dedicated to Men's Mental Health Month, and featured in my debut anthology 'Calm After The Storm', out now.

"Thank you. I love hearing people create magic, because for 6mins 27secs, in my world, you just stopped time. Beautiful."
"Keep up the amazing work, Jacob."
"... he is an absolute genius and a talent that gives goosebumps... he is just so good!"
"It was a mic drop. He was absolutely incredible. The room was in awe. What a moment. Thank you for sharing it. I felt bad for the person that followed him."
"My goodness. I don't know you, Jacob but I was very moved by this. I don't think it is simply the words, as good as they are, but the particular sensitive, kind, and intelligent character who gives them form. Shadows and grey come... but light never stops. Well done fella. Keep being you and attempt no emulation. Bravo."
"What an amazing story, such a strong and driven character. Well done! I really enjoyed the evening. Thanks for getting me involved. So much so that I got inspired to write a poem this morning."
